Kitty-Cam has been running nearly continuously since April, 2003. Two cameras are set up in the house aimed where the cats are most often found. Camera 1 looks down upon the bay window that faces the street. Camera 2 provides a bird's eye view of the cats from their cat stand in the upstairs office.

Because they were non-native to the island, all of the cats were slated by government officials for euthanasia. That's when we stepped in. Now the cats make their home at the Fund for Animals Wildlife Center in Ramona, Calif., where they have it all: food, toys, attention, and a place to call home. |
